Mrs. Kebawetse Isabella Kobela is founder member of Isabella Jewellers & Refiners
(Pty) Ltd . Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd commenced business in 2015. We
are registered as a refinery in terms of the Precious Metals Act, 2005 (Act 37 of 2005).
Refining is sourced from jeweller’s sweeps, filings, polishing and second-hand
jewellery.

We are located in Wadeville – Germiston – South Africa. As a small company it allows us
the opportunity of liaising directly with our clients and ensuring them of our best service.
Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd is a Certified Member of the Responsible Jewellery
Council (RJC) Standard Requirements.

The RJC is a standards-setting organization that has been established to advance
responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices throughout the
diamond, gold and platinum group metals jewellery supply chain.

The RJC has developed a benchmark standard for the jewellery supply chain and
credible mechanisms for verifying responsible business practices through third
party auditing.

As an RJC Member, We are in the process of certification of our COP (Code of
Practices) and COC (Chain of Custody) Certification continuously, and we have
committed to operating our business in accordance with the RJC Code of Practices &
Chain of Custody. We commit to integrating ethical, human rights, social and
environmental considerations into our day-to-day operations, business planning
activities and decision-making processes.

Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd business practices abide by RJC Requirements and
would further want their suppliers and stakeholder to abide by our Supply Chain Due
Diligence Policy.

Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd and its owners and employees hereby agree to
undertake the Know Your Customer / Know your Product and apply the policies &
procedure throughout their business practise.
Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd ensures that all Suppliers/ Clients adhere to the
rules and regulation adopted by RJC Cop & Coc standard requirements for KYC and KYP
documentation in line with the Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd requirements on
the same.
Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd has implemented policies and procedures as per the
standard RJC CoP & CoC requirements which relate to all business associated activities and
are inline to follow with each of their suppliers/ clients to ensure materials from conflict
affected areas and the supply due diligence, of associating with responsible gold sourcing.
These policies and procedures have been defined to for fit the KYC & KYP standards
requirements by:
➢ Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd KYC documentation is obtained as per the KYC
procedure with effect from engagement with the client. All relevant documentation
obtained from suppliers/clients are filed and kept in Client files this includes: –

• full name.
• business address and business telephone number.
• incorporation number or businessID number and the place of issue of its
  incorporation or business IDnumber general description of the type of business
  or activity undertaken* name, position and contact information of individual(s)
  authorized to give instructions with respect to doing business.
• Site Visits Forms.
• Supplier Questionnaire and Supplier Risk Assessments/ Bribery Risk
  Assessments are performed and kept on file.
• Company documents including registration, refining certificate, SARS, CIPC etc.
• Bank details.
• Signed supplier/client declarations on supply chain due diligences and
  materials from conflict affected areas.
• Once on-board client may bring the material to Isabella Jewellers & Refiners
  (Pty) Ltd for testing and purities were we inspect all supporting documentation.
• with the material.
• Take the weights and record before and after refining with total weights.
• Take evidence by photographs of the material brought in before and after
  refining.
• Suppliers/clients are free to witness the process of refining of their material
  should they wish to should they come physically with their material at
  premises.
• Should there be any documentation missing from the Supplier/ Client the
  engagement can be interrupted until the documentation is provided by the
  Supplier/ Client.
  All KYCs are performed annually by Isabella Jewellers & Refiners (Pty) Ltd and
  whereas required expired documents are replaced with the current documents
  immediately upon request to the Suppliers/ Clients.
